Montezuma II (1466 – 1520) Aztec emperor 1502 – 1520. The last ruler of the Aztec empire in Mexico, he was defeated and imprisoned by the Spanish under Cortés in 1519. He was killed while trying to pacify some of his former subjects during an uprising against his captors.

Kingdom of Saguenay, a mythical kingdom filled with gold and gemstones that the French explorer Jacques Cartier (1491 – 1557) hoped to find;  said to be situated along both shores of the Saguenay river in Quebec.
